Jamie Tridico PT DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), Chatham University
B.S. Physical Therapy, West Virginia University
Jamie is motivated by seeing the results people achieve by the end of their therapy—a return to their desired activities and stronger, healthier, and less prone to injury and disease. At Advanced Physical Therapy, Jamie started a popular Parkinson’s-specific exercise class that has helped a multitude of patients.
Always “on-call” for friends and family, Jamie has given community talks and lectures on physical therapy including Marshall University and University of Charleston. She serves the WV Physical Therapy Association and helps out at the Hubbard Hospice House. When she is not working or teaching about physical therapy, she’s likely playing tennis, being outside (when the weather is warm), and working with Charleston’s Girls on the Run Program. Jamie has previously worked at St. Francis Hospital, Charleston General Sub-Acute Rehabilitation, and Teays Physical Therapy Center – St. Albans.

Caroline Sword MPT
BA in Health and Human Performance from West Virginia University
Masters of Physical Therapy from West Virginia University
Caroline obtained her BA in Health and Human Performance and her Masters of Physical Therapy from West Virginia University. After completing her education at WVU in 2006, she joined Health South, where she primarily worked with neurolgical disorders (TBI, CRA, Parkinson’s, MS and Guillain-Barre). In 2008 she joined APT where she works with a variety of orthopedic diagnosis as well as patients with vertigo and gait and balance disorders.

Julian Spraggins DPT

B.S. Physical Therapy (2009)
Julian treats patients for musculoskeletal and neurological conditions through the use of resistance exercise, balance activities, flexibility training, manual therapies, modalities, and patient education. In a few years he plans to continue his physical therapy studies and become an Orthopedic Certified Specialist.
When not at Advanced Physical Therapy, you’ll find Julian traveling, cheering for his favorite sports teams, and dining out with friends.

S. Jill Huxley DPT

BS, Exercise Physiology, West Virginia University (2012)
Charleston native S. Jill Huxley recently joined Advanced Physical Therapy after completing the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Marshall University. At APT, Jill performs one-on-one therapy using the most advanced techniques to improve range of motion, alleviate pain, and help increase her patients’ well being.
Despite residing with the Thundering Herd during Physical Therapy school, Jill loves attending WVU football games. She enjoys spending time in the outdoors and with friends and family.

Deb Mattingly PT
Deb received her PT degree from Hunter College of the City University of New York. She worked in NY,
CA and PA before returning to her native WV in 1992. Work experience comes from a variety of settings
including acute care, medical rehabilitation, pediatrics and out-patient.
Deb became a certified yoga teacher in 2003 and has been involved in bringing yoga to Kanawha County
School students since 2004. Her passion is introducing yoga to populations living with challenges as a
tool to building self-esteem and coping mechanisms. Deb has presented to numerous groups on topics
of wellness and self-care .
Deb is the proud mother of one son and one dog and enjoys playing outside, traveling and spending
time with friends and family.

Terri Coleman Office Manager
Terri, our office manager at Advanced Physical Therapy, handles all aspects of billing for physical therapy services, insurance and patient payments, patient statements, and account questions. Terri has installed debit/credit card transactions here for patient convenience and is streamlining tasks and staff efficiency through our electronic medical billing/records system. She also manages human resources for APT staff.
Terri enjoys cheering for WVU sports teams and cooking up new recipes. And Christmas. There is no Christmas shop that goes unvisited when Terri is traveling by—she loves shopping for her own decorating or Christmas toy drives. Previously, Terri was the office manager at South Charleston Primary Care and Credit Manager for Kanawha Scales and Systems.

Victoria “Tori” Charley PTA, ATC

Certified in RockTape application
Tori appreciates helping our clients reach their fullest physical potential by educating them on their condition and how to treat it. She particularly loves to empower people to continue improving outside our doors. Tori is certified in RockTape application, a kinesiology tape that helps to promote movement, decrease swelling and pain.
When Tori is not working with APT patients, you can find her staying active by playing slow pitch softball game basketball. She has recently picked up recreational volleyball and would like return to biking. She previously worked with MedCare Therapy Center in Cross Lanes, West Virginia.

Amy Bidinger PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant, Mountwest Community and Technical College (2014)
Amy prides herself on motivating our patients to reach their fullest potential through therapeutic rehabilitation. Amy enjoys bringing smiles and laughter to those she works with. She is not shy and will joke and even dance to liven up a patient’s therapy session.
Outside of our clinic you can find Amy volunteering at high school football games near her home. Amy also loves to travel and spend time with her family creating new memories that she holds close to her heart.

Debbie Wilson PTA

Kevin Lee Dixon ATC
Certified Athletic Trainer, University of Charleston (2011)
Certified in Fascial Movement Taping and RockTape application.
Kevin loves to help athletes recover from injuries from a wide range of sports including football, soccer, and basketball. He can perform a masterful array of tapings and wrappings to get an athlete back into play when needed. Kevin also aids in outpatient physical therapy treatments for a variety of patients.
Kevin is working on state-of-the-art concussion testing with Marshall University Sports Medicine Team at Riverside High School. He previously worked with Holzer Health Systems and as a Certified Athletic Trainer for Capital High School Lacrosse and Cross Lanes Christian. In his spare time, Kevin plays golf, is an avid WVU fan, and a volunteer coach.

Christina Neal Receptionist
Christina efficiently manages appointments and greets patients at Advanced Physical Therapy. When she is not welcoming you to our offices, she is spending time with her family, riding a motorcycle, and swimming. Christina has previously worked at Continental Surfaces, Ticketmaster, and Champion Output Solutions.
